1. Who we are

Sufiology is a Vedic astrology consultation service. Nishaad Sharma is the only astrologer, and the Sufiology team looks after payments, scheduling and the website. In this notice, “we”, “us” and “Sufiology” mean Sufiology and Nishaad Sharma. We decide why and how your personal information is used.

2. What we collect, and why

When you create an account

• Your email address and a password. Our sign-in provider stores the password in a scrambled form. We cannot see it.
• If you use “Continue with Google”: your Google account email, and your name and profile picture if Google shares them.

Why: so you can sign in and see your own requests.

When you send a booking request

• Your name, WhatsApp number (with country code) and the email address for our reply.
• Your preferred date and time, and your time zone.
• Your date, time and place of birth.
• The concern you describe, and the session you chose.

Why: to prepare your reading, confirm your slot, contact you and hold your session.

If you save details in My account (optional)

• Your name, WhatsApp number (with country code), and your date, time and place of birth. You can fill in some, all or none of them.

Why: only to fill in your booking form for you. You can still change anything in the form, for example when you book for someone else. These saved details are visible only to you when you are signed in. They reach us only if you send a booking request.

To keep the website safe

• A random ID stored in your browser. It is saved with your booking request so we can apply the weekly limit. It holds no personal details and is never used for tracking or advertising.
• A scrambled (hashed) version of your network address (IP address). We do not store the network address itself.
• A security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) when you sign in or create an account. It may collect technical details about your browser and device to tell people from automated programs.

Why: to apply the limit of 2 booking requests per week and to stop spam and automated abuse.

Sensitive information

Birth details and the concern you describe can be personal. Only share what you are comfortable sharing. We use it only for your consultation.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not use your birth details or your concern for advertising.
• We do not collect payment details on this website. Our team arranges payment with you directly by UPI, usually before the session, after we confirm your slot. Your bank and UPI app handle the payment. We only see what they show us, such as your name and UPI ID.
• We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or visitor analytics.

4. Who else handles your information

We use these services to run the website. Each one handles information only to provide its service.

• Supabase stores accounts, booking requests and notes, and provides sign-in. The data is stored in Singapore.
• Resend sends us an email when you send a request.
• Cloudflare provides the security check (Turnstile).
• Google provides the fonts used on this site, so your browser contacts Google’s servers when the page loads. Google also provides “Continue with Google” if you choose it.
• GitHub (owned by Microsoft) hosts the website files. GitHub may log the network address of visitors to deliver and protect its service.
• WhatsApp (Meta) and your email provider carry our messages when you contact us or we reply to you. Their own policies apply.
• YouTube: if you follow a link to our channel, YouTube’s policies apply once you open it.

Some of these services may store information outside India.

5. How long we keep your information

• Booking requests (including the message you wrote) are deleted 12 months after the request.
• Details saved in My account are kept until you change or remove them on the My account page, or delete your account. Removing them does not affect booking requests you already sent.
• Accounts are kept until you ask us to delete them. We may also delete an account that has not been used for 2 years.
• Email and WhatsApp conversations stay in those apps. If you ask, we will delete them from our side.

6. Cookies and browser storage

This site does not use advertising cookies. It keeps a few small items in your browser so it can work: your sign-in session, your light or dark mode choice, and the random ID used for the weekly request limit. The security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) may also set its own technical cookies or storage.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• show you what information we hold about you,
• correct it,
• delete it,
• stop using it for a purpose you did not agree to, or
• withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before you withdrew.

Write to sufiology8@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 70096 26556. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the data protection authority where you live.

8. People under 18

People under 18 may use this service only with the approval of a parent or guardian. Their parent or guardian must agree to the request and to the use of the details. Before we confirm a session for someone under 18, we may ask the parent or guardian to confirm by WhatsApp or email. We do not use children’s information for advertising or tracking.

9. Security

Information travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Your birth details and the concern you describe are seen only by the Sufiology team: Nishaad Sharma, who gives the readings, and the team members who look after payments, scheduling and the website. Nobody outside the organisation sees them, apart from the service providers in section 4 that store and deliver the data for us. We keep your information safely, we never sell it, and we never use it for advertising. The admin account is protected by two-step sign-in. No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

10. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. If the change is important, we will tell account holders by email.

1. What Sufiology offers

Sufiology offers one-to-one Vedic astrology consultations with Nishaad Sharma by video call. The website also has written notes about astrology. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Sufiology” mean Sufiology and Nishaad Sharma.

2. What a reading is, and what it is not

• Astrology is a traditional system of interpretation. A reading is for guidance, reflection and planning.
• A reading does not guarantee any result.
• A reading is not medical, mental health, legal, financial or investment advice. Please ask a qualified professional about those matters. Do not make a major health, legal or money decision based only on a reading.
• Remedies are traditional suggestions. They are not a cure and they are not medical treatment. They do not replace medical care.
• We may decline to answer a question we are not comfortable answering.

3. Who can book

• You must be 18 or older. A person under 18 can book only with the approval of a parent or guardian.
• You must give correct information, especially your date, time and place of birth. A reading depends on them.
• If the details you gave are wrong or guessed, the reading may be inaccurate.

4. How booking works

1. You create an account and send a booking request with your preferred date and time.
2. We reply by email or WhatsApp. We may confirm your request, or suggest another time.
3. Your session is booked only when we confirm it. Sending a request does not book it.
4. We then arrange payment with you (see section 6).
5. We send you the video call link by email. If you do not receive it by email, we send it on WhatsApp.

• You can send up to 2 requests per week from one account or device.
• We do not take phone calls. Please message us on WhatsApp.

5. Sessions and prices

• Dwapara: 20 minutes, ₹2000.
• Treta: 30 minutes, ₹3200.
• Satya: 45 minutes, ₹6000. It includes the pending karma reading.

Every session includes remedies. Prices are in Indian rupees. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is added. The price we confirm to you is the price you pay. If our prices change, the price at the time we confirm your slot applies.

6. Payment

You do not pay on this website. Payment is usually made before the session. The Sufiology team handles payment. After we confirm your slot, the team will arrange payment with you directly, by UPI. We will tell you the amount, and how and when to pay.

7. Late arrival, rescheduling and cancelling

• To reschedule or cancel, message us on WhatsApp or email at least 1 hour before the session. We will give you a new time at no extra cost.
• If you join up to 20 minutes late, we still give you the full session time you booked. For example, a 30-minute session is still 30 minutes, starting when you join.
• If you are more than 20 minutes late, we reschedule the consultation to another time.
• If we cannot hold the session at the time we agreed, we will offer you another time at no extra cost.

8. Refunds

• When we refund: we give a refund when we find that we are not meant to check your chart, which we only know after we analyse it. Otherwise we do not give refunds.
• If you cannot attend, you can reschedule (see section 7).
• If we cannot hold the session at the agreed time, we reschedule it. We do not refund in this case.

9. Respectful behaviour

Please be respectful. We may end a session, or stop serving someone, if they are abusive or misuse the website. Misuse includes trying to get around the weekly request limit, sending spam, or attacking the site.

10. Recording and privacy of sessions

• We do not currently record sessions. If we ever do, we will tell you before the session starts.
• Please do not record or share a session without our permission.
• What you tell us is kept private under our Privacy notice, except where the law requires us to share it.

11. Content on this website

The notes, text, images and designs on this site belong to Sufiology or their owners. Please do not copy them for commercial use without our written permission. Notes on this site are general information. They are not a personal reading.

12. Links to other sites

This site links to WhatsApp, YouTube and other sites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

13. Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a reading, or for losses that come from those decisions. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the law that cannot be taken away.

14. If the website is unavailable

We try to keep the website working, but we cannot promise it will always be available.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. A change does not affect a session we have already confirmed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.

16. Law and complaints

These terms follow the laws of India. The courts at Chandigarh decide disputes. For a question or complaint, write to sufiology8@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 70096 26556. We will reply within 30 days.
